This building was at 171 Lisbon Street and was destroyed by a fire which destroyed several buildings along this stretch of Lisbon Street in the early 2000's. One notable tenant in this building in 1906-07 was the American modernist and landscape painter, Edmund Marsden Hartley, who in 1906 returned to his native Lewiston hoping to make a living teaching painting and drawing. His studio was located in Suite Four.
